i have a query regarding date of transfer of shares.the date will be after clearing of cheque of transfers from bank A/c or the date in which we have issued cheque to the transferor & get signed transfer deeds.

Hello, Is Off-market trades of shares legal and valid?? If I purchase someone's shares in my code and then sell it to them(without any monetary gain) and receive cheque from them in my account...is this legal and valid?

also, what if I add some commission/monetary gain(as a charge) of using my code....then will this be legal and valid?

Hi, If I'm having 100 shares of ACC for over 3 yrs. in my DP (D-mat form) and I'm not a trader. Si I know I'll be getting LTCG when I sell these shares.......BUT if I transfer these shares to any other DP(of any person) as a loan for few weeks/months (less than 1 yr.)...and later take back before end of 1 year....then what will this be counted.......will I be eligible for LTCG or I loose all the long term benefits???
