I have to submit several Affidavits and Indemnity bonds for applying for duplicate share certificates. These documents have to be executed on stamp paper. While filling stamp paper, we have to fill in " Consideration Amount". Since duplication procedure does not involve any transactions in terms of sale/purchase, what should be filled against Consideration Amount? Similarly for claiming dividends/share certificates from IEPF portal, we are required to submit the auto generated Indemnity bond on stamp paper. In this case also, no transaction is involved. So what should be the Consideration amount?

I have 1000 shares of Kwality Ltd , Broker is saying shares have been extinguished . What does this mean ? Have I lost my money ? Is there any way to contact company and trade the share ?

After death of my husband, I came to know that some shares of MRPL were held by him. I do not have any certificate, but only dividend warrant having Folio no. with my husband's name. How to proceed to get the said shares transferred in my name.

If an individual shareholder of a company transfers its holdings to another individual, will it require a valuation to determine the price of shares? If so, can only a registered valuer perform this valuation, or can an independent CA practitioner with over 10 years of practice also do so? Assume company is private limited company.

If we buy shares on various dates with different price say 500 shares @ 250/- on 20 Jan, 700 shares @ 280/- on 26 Feb etc
1) sold 500 shares
2). or sold 800 shares

For capital gain purpose, cost will be considered on FIFO method or average cost of all holding.

My late father has 4 legal heirs. He has 10 physical share certs. I am the claimant. I understand the share transmission procedure. Among several forms, there is Appendix D Affidavit( as per Kfintec) which needs to be submitted by all legal heirs. I would like to know if same form can be used for several companies or it has to be one form for each company. The form does have provision to list out several companies.
In case the above is acceptable, then can we submit photocopies of the affidavit to all companies ? Or a true copy?
With 4 legal heirs and 10 companies, the number of affidavit is huge. How can we avoid so many documents?

Hello. I'm going to issue the share certificates to the subscribers of memorendum of my private limited company. I wanted to know how does the MCA or any concerned authorities would know whether I've issued the share certificates or not? Is there any process to report the issuance of yhe share certificates?
