WRONG STATUS IN PAN ONLY

It is co-opreative socitety and cliaming deduction u/s 80P.In PAN application it has mentioned the status as local authority and accordingly PAN has been allotted.Can A.O denai the benifit of sec 80 P and assess it as Local Authority instiead of Co-op socitey

DEBATABLE. YOU MAY ALSO ENVISAGE PROBLEM IN UPLOADING ITR IF YOU FALL UNDER THE CATEGORY OF E-FILING ASSESSEES.

Get the PAN Corrected and the AO has to go beyond the name or claissifacation. Therefore you will be assessed as Co-operative Society only.
