Wrong micr code in itr

Sir/Madam,
I have just submitted an ITR-1 Online without using a digital signature and physically signed ITR-V has not been sent to Banglore.
On filling I find that MICR code was wrongly filled in ITR.
I have contacted to CPC Banglore, the representative told me I need not to worry I should file a revised return and only that revised ITR-V I need to file and the original ITR-V need not to file.
I want to know whether in this case we can file revised return and whether this revised return will be under the same section or u/s 139(5). Futher is any another resolution is possible?

If you have filed the original return after the due date of filing, then revised return cannot be filed.
Send the original ITR V to CPC.

Dear Anoop,
Pls note:
1. Belated return can not be revised.
2. In case your return was filed within due date then also I advise you not to revise your return due to wrong MICR in both the cases, whether you have refund amount or not.
Since SBI is the refund banker which is sending cheques to the assessee for refund amount. SBI is not giving electronic credit for refund amount to any one. Hence even if you correct your MICR then also you will get refund amount at your doorstep by way of cheque.
Also next year you can change bank particulars while filing ITR.

With Due respect all of your contribution I want to clarify following points:
1. I have a refund amount of Rs 5150.00 for which I had choosed ECS mode for refund payment.
2. I have filed my belated return u/s 139(4) and I have not still send my physically signed ITR-V.
3. I new that belated return cannot be revised, and it is just a rectification which I want but since there was no option available in case of online return to rectify without porcessing u/s 143(1).
4. The resolution has been provided by CPC Banglore call center that I should file a revised return with correct MICR code of bank u/s 139(5), and I have to file only ITR-V of revised return only.
Hope know you have clear idea of my problem and you will be able to provide me suitable resoltion of it

Since Belated return can not be revised option of revision is not available to you.
Refund banker, SBI is not giving electronic credit for refund amount to any one.
You will not get refund amount through ECS and you will get cheque by post.
HENCE NO ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN BY YOU. JUST SEND ITR V AT CPC BANGALORE.

Who told you that Refund banker SBI is not giving electronic credit. If you selecting this option and MICR and Account number is correct than they are crediting it by ECS mode.
As per income tax rule you can not revised belated return but practically CPC is accepting it so file the revised return U/S 139(5) and send both ITR-V to CPC Banglore.
If they accept the revised return than its ok otherwise due to wrong MICR they will not credit the refund than you have to send Refund Response Sheet with canceled cheque to CPC Banglore.

Neha..... You have wrong information that refund is not provided through ECS mode.
Moreover, CPC is accepting revised return even the return is filed after due date.

I am cent percent sure that You will not get electronic refund. You will surely get paper refund / cheque from income tax office. My Email id is nehajaincs@gmail.com.

It may be anoop will not get refund from ECS mode but as you told Income tax department is not crediting refund by ECS.That is wrong. If you want i can provide you some ECS Refund Proof also.

Yes he is from mumbai.
But maximum online return is prosses in CPC banglore and refund is issued from SBI Income tax refund Andheri, Mumbai
For current assessment year out of mumbai asessee i have no proof right now. but i for last year i have.
