which amount considered for Deduction of Tds?

05 May 2010 Which amount should consider for deduction of Tds ? means suppose Basic Service of Rs 1000 + ST 10.3% ie Rs 103 = Rs 1103 ,so my question is whether deducted of Tds @10% on Rs 1000 or Rs 1103 ?
