20 July 2009 Pls, tell me how to find out who is the concerned Jurisdictional Assessing officer..?

Do i hv to see the previous return of theirs?

Pls help........

Thnx

22 July 2009 Dear Pratibha
For knowing your concerned jurisdictional Assessing officer:
log on the site :incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
and at the top of the site under menu bar there is one 'SERVICES' and in the drop down list thereof, you will find option 'KNOW YOUR JURISDISCTION'.By putting your PAN therein you will know your jurisdiction.

Further no any paper , neither origingal or photocopy thereof (including Form16), is required to be submitted with the return.

Thanks
