I am unable to register on income tax portal as a CA. An error appears "The Membership Number entered does not exist. Please retry." please help me to solve this problem.

number is correct and name also matches exactly. I have got FRN on 24/07/23. I think ICAI database with Income Tax is not upto date. Thank you

If your PAN is not registered on the e-Filing Portal, an error message is displayed. You can register as a CA only if your PAN is registered.
