20 December 2014 hi,
my income is below tax limit. However, my fd interest are taxable and hence tds are deducted.

1. How can i claim the deducted tds?
2. Also, If I submit 15g form in my bank, will they still deduct tds ?

20 December 2014 you have to file your itr for claiming income tax refund & further if you file form 15g/h than it will not be deducted by bank, but you have to file 15g/h only in case your income including fd interest is below taxable limit.

21 December 2014 TDS can be claimed as refund if you file your file Income Tax Return and have no taxable income.

Yes you also prefer to submit form 15G, in that case no TDS will be deducted from FD interest

22 December 2014 if your income is below the exempt limit then you can file 15G/H form with PAN detail with Bank then no tds will deduct by the bank of intt on FDR.

22 December 2014 1. If your total income including fd interest does not exceed the basic slab as applicable to you then file form 15G in case you are non senior citizen and claim relief from getting tax deducted at source.

2.they will not do once you submit form 15G to them
