09 December 2021 Dear Sir

I have appointed some staff for my household work. like cook, cleaner, gardner.

The expenses incurred are of personal nature and has nothing to with any business. I also don't have TAN No.

Am i liable to deduct TDS

09 December 2021 No. Not at all. (except in some high net worth assesses' case TDS is required to be deducted on payment to resident contractors and professionals)
