Credit for TDS shall be allowed in the same proportion in which such income is offered for taxation. This is from Circular 5 dated 02/3/2001 reported in 248 ITR (st) 241 issued in respect of advance rent. Therefore the same analogy can be adopted for certificates issued in joint names.
