I am trying to register for service tax online. I selected the right commissionerate and division as per my bbmp ward but I stuck at selecting the range?
How can I ascetain, which range I need to select. What is deciding factor to select range? How can I get of mine.
In list box, I have following option of RANGE to select.
GROUP XXIX (BANG) GROUP XXX (BANG) GROUP XXVII (BANG) GROUP XXVIII (BANG) GROUP XXI (BANG) GROUP XXII (BANG) GROUP XXIII (BANG) GROUP XXIV (BANG) GROUP XXV (BANG) GROUP XXVI (BANG)

PLEASE CONTACT TO YOUR JURISDICTIONAL SERVICE TAX AUTHORITY WHO WILL TELL YOU THE CORRECT RANGE BASED ON YOUR LOCAL AREA WHERE YOUR PREMISES IS ESTABLISHED. IT CAN NOT BE DECIDED BY THE ASSESSEE SELF.

It means, there is no meaning of online registration with out contacting service tax officer offline.
And when I will meet them offline, I am sure, they will ask for bribe or will indirectly try to show mistakes for my correct documents and help to loose my confidence that I am correct.
DO NOT YOU THINK, there should be predefined area list along with their respective range code published while online registration of service tax or on service tax website.
DO NOT YOU THINK, if this list is not published, there is no meaning of online registration by yourself instead of contacting again the busy service tax people offline.
My Experience: ------------------ I tried to register MSME Enterpreneur Memorandum Part 2, service tax and even try to find Entrepreneur Memorandum Part 1 (Provisional), and I found one common thing in all registration.
The registration form looks simple to fillup, and when you go forward, there will be atleast one such difficulty so that you can not really submit the form for registration and some time, submit button does not work at all.
what I hope, these mistakes or diffculity are intentionally added into the form so that you need to visit the respective office offline for registation or need to hire a broker to do your registration.
At last: ------------------- My query is still not resolved. Does any Expert on this topic at CA Club to help me out?
I hope at least from Mr. Jain whom I have seen answering very frequently.
I am really not satisfied with your answer. Either you want me to contact you by giving your mobile number for registration or diverting me from searching solution for this.
I know, there are lot of expert available in CA Club and will help me.
