We are in startup hotel industries
pls let me know the applicability of ST and its abatement etc.

15 September 2016 If the rent per day is more than Rs.1000 then service tax at 15% applicable on 60% of rent collected. Abatement is 40%.

Rent per day is 1200 less 20% discount 240 net 960/-
pls let me know weather 9% ST will be charge on 960/- or not
