Dear All, Yesterday i went in one of the restaurant where i have ordered the food & get packed it by restaurant staff and i have taken the same to my house i have not eaten the food in restaurant inspite that they have charged 15% ST of 40% value, pls let me know with the sec/circular weather ST will be applicable in this case,

Service tax applicable if you buy the packed food from AC restaurant. Service tax part relate to preparing the food excluding the material part of 60%.
