can i claim 12A Exemption for my trust if i File the return after the due date. I heard that if we file belated return then the exemption will not be given

To avail the benefit of exemption u/s 11, a trust registered U/s 12AA shall necessarily file its return of income within the time allowed u/s 139 (1) of the Act.
