But on the Delhi Government's site, it is mentioned that for formation of Society under Societies Registration Act the names of the persons mentioned in the clause 4 (Governing Body) of the model of the memorandum must necessarily be included under clause 5 i.e. in the list of desirous persons / subscribers to the memorandum. This is to say that member of the Governing Body cannot be outside the list of the desirous persons / subscribers to the memorandum.

Thanks Sir. My question is suppose desirous persons subscribing to Memorandum are 7 . Can members of governing Council be 8 out of which 7 will be desirous persons and one extra who is not subscribing to the Memorandum
