Service tax exemption

I have registered for service tax recently on the fact that, if value of services provided in a financial year is more than 9lakhs. Is there any exemption like service tax would be paid only if the income from service provided is more than 10lakhs?

For the first year of service provided exceeding 10 lacs, service tax payable on income exceeding 10 lacs.
