10 September 2012 i'm a CA cinal student........
Can anyone say whethter it is compulsory to write the answers of consolidation and amalgamation questions in the revised Sch VI format in the exams or is it sufficient to present in the simple horizontal format as given in question.........

10 September 2012 No you must use the same format in which question is given to you. but if u present your ans in Revised Schedule VI then note must be given

15 September 2012 Thanks Mr. Vikas Gupta......... But in the new study materials and RTP issued by the institute all questions in Amalgamation and consolidation were answered in Revised Schedule VI format only so only i'm having a doubt

18 September 2012 Also i heard that Saravana Prasad Sir said that revised schedule has to followed for doing Balance seheets and P&L while answering in exams.
