10 September 2016 If a NRI is not subject to tax in India due to not being a PE still the service tax reverse charge mechanism will apply?

11 September 2016 Yes reverse charge mechanism will apply and service receiver is liable to pay service tax.

11 September 2016 Should.we still look at dtaa to see if there can be relief for service tax as well or you are sure it will apply

11 September 2016 DTAA is for income tax not for service tax.
Elaborate the nature of service and who provided the service and who received it.
