26 July 2008 Whether revenue stamp is required to be affixed on salary register or payment voucher when it is paid through the cheque?
does it makes any sense if the cheque is not a account payee cheque?

31 July 2008 but is this not voilation of Revenue stamp act which clearly state that revenue stamp must be affixed for receipts above rs. 5000
