I have not yet submit the ST3 return for the last half of the year 2008-2009. Is any penalty liveable on this and what was the last date of submission of return.

Last date was 25/4/2009. Late filing fee ranges from Rs.500/ to Rs.2000/- depending on the period of delay. For details refer Rule7C of service tax rules,1994 in www.servicetax.gov.in
