29 August 2011 Can a CA sign a Balance Sheet by printing the same on his letter head: I am asking for: In case of small tax audits , where the assessee is required to submit to loner bank, PLEASE ANSWER WITH REASONS AND CONSEQUENSES

29 August 2011 In case you are doing Tax Audit of an entity, then as a general practice you print 3CB and FINAL Accounts on the letter head of a CA. I see no provisions prohibiting it.

29 August 2011 BUT WILL IT BE WRONG TO DO SO

29 August 2011 If a chartered accountant prints the balance sheet of the client in the letter head of that chartered accountant, that action comes under 'other misconduct' as per ICAI Council decision.
