is sign on the on revenue stamp Necessary if payment is above Rs 5000/- if the revenue stamp is attached after sign then.... if i cross the revenue stamp with pen will it do..?

Although the rule is to cross sign the stamp. But in practical life I had seen many people following the method you are talking about.
