01 January 2011 Sir,
One of my sister filed IT Return for the A Y 2010-11 on 09/06/2010. As per Form 16 there is no refund amount. TDS amount is Rs. 36769/-. Because she made an investment in bond on 29/03/2010 only which qualified for deduction under section 80C amouunts to refund of Rs.15600/-.As per IT return filed tax payable Rs. 21469/-. But till now no refund received. What action will we take. For the P Y year2008-09 also refund amount not received till date. That year assessment is completed.Is it. what can we do for receiving the refund amount. Kindly help me...
