Is it compulsory to maintain Excise Registers (RG1, Cenvat 23A,23C, PLA) manually . We are keeping records in Excell format. is it Ok.

Pls clarify,

12 January 2016 you can maintain excel formate,but keep its authnticated copy for record while produce to show excise authority on demand.
