MY CLIENT HAS PAID PROPERTY TAX TILL FY 2018-19...NOW WHILE FILLING CHALLAN FOR FY2024-25 PREVIOUS YEAR DUES ARE NOT SHOWN...WHETHER FOR EACH YEAR SEPARATE CHALLAN IS TO BE FILLED?
AND SURPRISINGLY FOR FY 2018-19 ITSELF TAX PAYABLE IS SHOWN IN THE CHALLAN WHILE IT HAS ALREADY BEEN PAID..

You may pay only the present year's due. System seems to be under renovation. Earlier years dues may be demanded later on.

yes...because till date previous year dues was shown in current year challan....but it is not shown as of now...

one more query property is under sale and deal will be registered in sep 2024...even then client is supposed to pay FY 24-25tax?

Yes, at most seller can ask purchaser to compensate for half of the tax paid.
