Problem with resetting password for client,

04 August 2015 Hi All

i have about 100+ salaried persons from same organisation who are moved to me from another CA for Tax filings this year. i am facing lot of trouble while resetting their passwords on E-filing Portal. below is information.

when i input Mobile Pin and Email pin it shows that password will get reset in 12 hours. meanwhile the other CA ( previous CA of clients) also get email regarding password change. that CA is cancelling those requests and i am unable to change password. below are some more points.

1. All of their passwords are with another CA who do not want to co-operate either with client or with me as his major loosing a big chunk of revenue.
2. even after repeated request by client and me his is saying that he do not have any passwords ( i find this as lie). he mentioned that he file return through clear tax. but i can see his mobile number while resetting password.
3. clients paid him in cash for last year and didn't take any receipt of fees.

Now i have two options left
1.login through net banking ( but none of person have net banking active).
2. get an digital signature for every person which will be very costly.

Can anyone tell me any other way to reset password.

I am feeling annoyed by the fact that how a CA can hijack passwords of people and over that restricting another CA to work for them. i understand the paid of loosing a client but that doesn't mean you will stop supporting them.

You just simply request to them to cooperate with you and if they any information related to thier earlier clients, those are now your, share with you....

You need to contact them first telephonic
Then through mails

And if they still behaving like child

Just forward final mail to them by indicating you are now going complaint in ICAI..


And finally forward all communication related this to ICAI..

iCAI knows better how to deal them ....

i have been chasing this guy since a week. but still he is not taking seriously.
now i have decided to send letter through client giving warning of complain with ICAI and Consumer Forum. i will send it through Registered post so that i can have proof.

can this be a right way?

But first latter should be warning latter....

And next latter to ICAI by making copy this un processional person
