My friend a medical doctor retired from Armed forces is drawing two pensions .One is her own after 33 years of service in armed forces and also the pension of her deceased husband who retired also from Armed forces. Are both these taxable in her hands? I can see TDS is deducted on both the pensions. Can you please let me know how these are to be treated in her hands?
