PAN card misplaced

My PAN card is misplaced & I want to a new PAN Card. So can I reapply for the new PAN Card Or is there any other proceedure for it?

PLease help me out.

27 July 2009 If you remember the Permanent account number apply for a PAN card with the same number. Do not apply afresh. Holding of more than on PANo is an offence punishable with fine.

27 July 2009 Just apply for new pan card with same no., you will get a replaced card with same PAN.
