29 January 2011 my company receives a notice u/s 221(1), liability is of 220 lakh . how can i deal with this matter,
i m a fresher and alone accountant of this comapny. and have direct reporting to md.
shall i take initiative in this matter , how?

29 January 2011 This is a case for default in paying tax which lead to penalty proceedings. Seems senior engagement is required since amount involved is substantial.
