DEAR ALL, I PURCHASE NEW FLAT IN AHMEDABAD FROM BUILDER, FLAT IS READY TO MOVE, SO WHAT IS GST RATE APPLICABLE?, I JUST PAY DOWN PAYMENT FOR THIS, DEED IS NOT READY, SO WHAT NEEDS TO BE KEPT IN MIND? HOW CAN I SAVE GST ? WHICH QUESTIONS ARE I CAN ASK TO BUILDER?

No GST applicable on such ready to move house for which completion certificate obtained.

you may ask the builder if he has obtained the completion certificate, if the builder has got the completion certificate there is no need to pay gst on the flat else gst rate payable is 12 percent of the registry value
