What is the limit for tax rebate on Mediclaim Premiums, for self and dependent parents (senior citizens)?

01 December 2009 Medical Premium as per sec.80D for a Person (self) below 65Yrs.is max.Rs.15000/- & above 65 Yrs. max. 20000/- as equal to this If your dependents are below 65Yrs.is max. Rs. 15000/- & above max. 20000/-
Theoretically ,maximum deduction can be claimed for Rs. 40000.(20000+20000)
