23 July 2014 My question is that if a director of pvt limited company signed any documents/govt documents, whether he is liable for all documents for mentioning his din number or it is only responsible to mention din on documents submitted with govt authorities.

please suggest us...

Thanks in Advance

23 July 2014 DIN to be mentioned only in documents required to be furnished under the Companies Act,2013.

24 July 2014 In case if director certify any reolution/documents , DIN is required to be mentioned?

02 August 2024 Mandatory DIN Mention: When a director signs any document or form that is filed with government authorities (such as the Ministry of Corporate Affairs), it is mandatory to mention the DIN. This requirement ensures that the identity of the director is clearly recorded and that the person signing the document is properly identified.
Examples: Forms such as DIR-12 (for appointment of directors), MGT-14 (for resolutions), and annual returns require the director’s DIN to be mentioned.
