I have some problem in in SAHAJ form in excel format.
First, Pls. refer Row. C1 80C, in which only 5columns are there. I have invested Rs.100000 (ONE LAC) in this head, how could I show the same.
Second thing, all the information e.g. First name, middle name,last name, flat, Gross income, dedcution etc. are in Columns. Could I merge these column in respective head & file the return.
Afte all, these columns border are not useful for the dept. Because in digitization process the Scanner leave the RED COLOUR.

Pls. advice.

20 June 2011 Mention Total deduction in 80C in cell adjacent to it, there is one colomn named system calculated which is read only.
Enter the data as mentioned, merging of cells may corrupt the file
