11 April 2018 Dear Sir,

if I pay driver's salary amount-20000/-pm ,what this amount rebate in income tax.this is not part of salary.
2-we received conveyance allowance 40000/-pm ,we can rebate in income tax this whole amount.

11 April 2018 Conveyance allowance is taxable. Drivers salary cannot be deducted from it.

11 April 2018 No , Drivers Salary paid is not Considered for Individual Income Tax.
For AY 2018-19 standard deduction of Rs. 40,000 for the salaried class. This additional deduction has been proposed in lieu of existing deductions of Rs. 15,000 PA for medical reimbursement and Rs. 19,200 PA for transport allowance.
