Dear Sir/Madam
If Husband & wife are owner of any House.
Can take husband rent receipt from his wife ? & Can husband claim the HRA of the same Rent Receipt.
If the husband can take rent receipt from his wife & claim HRA of the same rent receipt? which is clause/Section of the Income Tax Act?
Please Justify the above matter.

in your case rent can not be claimed because your are joint owner.

Seems law will not permit to take a commercial advantage out of marital relations, meaning thereby HRA deduction will be denied.
