How to get assessing officer address to get conso file

26 September 2014 I wanted to download conso file & justification report from Traces to revise TDS return becoz there were plenty of PAN errors. But details were given in TDS return were totally wrong. That's a doing a lots of efforts for making PAN combination & putting challan details, coun't get conso & justification report. As I have discussed with customer care..contacts@cpc.gov.in but couldn't get the proper response. they asked me to meet the Assessing offier. But I don't know how to find him. After searching through TAN: LKNU04190E. I got below address:- AREA CODE: LKN, AO TYPE: WT, RANGE CODE:131, AO NUMBER:2. I can't understand I m new in that case. plz tell me to reach him through address.

26 September 2014 Seetharaman Ji, I want to know how to reach the department where my TAN's record are analyzed. Yesterday When I reached at income tax office in Lucknow. I was asked where to go. I just shown Area Code, Range Code. which I got TO KNOW TAN from ITD website. He told me. by following these codes you can't reach to you assessing officer. Then What to do...first time I visited there...

26 September 2014 when you visit tax office, you need to ask for ITO-TDS II Lucknow. Thats the jurisdiction you come under.

26 September 2014 Mr. Nikhil, give me some more details to get easily...is there any requirement of ID card....or anyone on behalf of company can enter..becoz yesterday gate keeper ask ko Id card which I didn't have.

26 September 2014 you should always carry your ID card...even PAN card is sufficient. However, AO may ask you for authorization letter/POA issued by the Company before giving you any information

26 September 2014 If I get a letter head issued by the company mentioning that I am on the company's behalf. Will it be ok.

26 September 2014 Thank you....you removed my headache which was paining me for a long time. employees on company are bent on me. bcoz no amount reflected in their's 26AS. by the way how much time will they take to provide conso file & justification report.

I tried every efforts to get conso file with the details I have but unsucessful. If I give u the password & userId of traces & details can u do me a favour may be I am wrong & put wrong details.
