11 April 2009 Please explain what is FORM-H and FORM-E ?
What are procedures involved in issuing FORM D and H

11 April 2009 Form H is issued by the receiver Branch to the Giver Branch.This will enable the sender to claim tax exemption on the ground that the goods have been transferred to their own Branches.

Form D is given by Govt. agencies when they are purchasing without tax.

11 April 2009 Form H is issued by the exporter to the dealer making a penultimate sale for export.
Form E. Pl see the answer(1st para) given by Mr. Srinivasulu.

Form D is omitted w.e.f 01/04/2007. Before that date it was issued by Government during interstate purchase.


11 April 2009 Correct Form D is omitted w.e.f 01/04/2007

12 April 2009 I agree with with Mr.Warrier for answer on Form 'H'.
