21 October 2009 Pl see section 77 and rule 7C of Service tax Rules,1994.

Late fee ranging from Rs 500/- to Rs.2000/-,depending on the period of delay,will be levied under rule 7C of The Service tax Rules,1994.

Penalty not exceeding Rs.5000/-could be imposed u/s 77 of The Finance Act,1994.

so you have to fileservice tax return up to 25th oct2009,
