Filing nil income tax return if i'm working abroad

29 July 2022 Hello sir/madam,
I've been working in the US in the last financial year 2021-22 since Jan 21. Should I file Nil income tax return for this year? Or can I just not file any return at all since there was no income in India..

29 July 2022 If you are NRI, no need to file return in India, if your income earned in India is nil, or below exemption limit.

PF from my company got remitted to my account this year 21-22- about 15 lacs. In that case, should I file return?
