27 August 2014 My Client is an NRI.
He hold stocks in his portfolio in India which he wants to sell and take the money back to the country where he lives.
Kindly let me know how can he repatriate it.

27 August 2014 Authorised Dealers can allow remittance/s upto USD 1 million, of balances in NRO accounts/of sale proceeds of assets on production of an undertaking by the remitter togetherwith a certificate issued by a Chartered Accountant in Annexure A and B as prescribed by the Central Board of Direct axes (CBDT).
The stocks in his portfolio might have been invested on repatriation basis.
