28 December 2018 A person wants to donate more than Rs.2000 in cash to trusts & societies. Can he donate such amount if he doesn't want to claim deduction under section 80G of amount more than Rs.2000?

28 December 2018 Yes he can donate. Receipt of cash donations above Rs. 2,000 by a charitable trust is still not prohibited.
