Sir/Madam, My client is a transporting contractor and lorry arranger. He transports the goods by heiring trucks {belonging to individual truck owner} for exporters who deduct his tds from the transporting charges paid to him. There is no contract between him and truck owners. Therefore, he has no deducted TDS while remitting payment to truck owners. Whether he is liable to deduct TDS or not? Please, remit your valuable opinion.
