hello. I took registrd myslf for CPT course three years ago, nd i dint sit for any exam since three year, i was working at somewhere for family income purpose. But currently i want to complete CA course. I got registrd for CPT on 10th oct,2010 at kolkata chapter. But problm is my registration is going to be expired soon but i want to sit for decembr'13 attempt. And i also lost my registration crtificate,but remembered my registration number. Question is ' do i need to show them my registration crtificate for renueal or just the number will be enough? And wht documents r needed for this issue? M i eligible for dec'13 attempt? M pursuing graduation now... Pls help me..

ICAI announced the scheme of re-validation of registration for CPT, Intermediate and Final courses. This scheme should be applicable from 1st January 2013 and shall be applicable to CPT , IPC and Final students.
Common Proficiency Course students
Initial registration of CPC is valid only for 3 years. At the expiry of 3 years , a student need to revalidate his registration. Each such revalidation will be valid of 3 years.
Fess for revalidation : ₹300/- . A student who has not revalidated his registration after the expiry of 3 years from initial registration cannot apply for examination (Common Proficiency Test)
With a view to create awareness, it has been decided that no revalidation fees shall becharged till 31st December, 2013. Accordingly, CPT students who have registered on or before 31st December, 2010 are advised to apply for revalidation without paying any revalidation fee, till 31st December, 2013, So as to be eligible to appear in June, 2014 examinations onwards for 3 years from the date of revalidation.
