Costing of final level

This query is : Resolved

28 April 2009 I hav passed PCC in Nov'08 in 1st attempt. I m good in costing & didnt faced any doubt & in final I see that most of the chapters of PCC r repeated. I want to ask can I do it self study based or should I opt of tutions? & which refrence book would u like me to prefer for costing & O.R.??

28 April 2009 from my person experience I can say that there is no problem is self study, however you need a good book and a good friend(who is taking tuition) which can answer your query through his tuition

28 April 2009 Yes you can do self study but dont take it for granted just because you had cleared your PCC in first attempt.

Self study should be backed by group discussion on subject to clarify the doubt rasied by other student.

As far as reference book i think Institute's modules are best.

Last but not the least you should have the confidence of passing the exam.BUT remember that overconfidence is very dangerous.

Best of Luck my friend....
