Can anybody please tell me about the process of restoration of company name. One of my friend's company have been struck off and now we want it to restore. What procedure needs to be followed and what all are the formalities need to be done. Also, is there any way to restore the company name online. (offline procedure takes too much time and effort)?

An appeal can be filed with in 3 years from the date of order to National Company Law Tribunal for the restoration of name of Company in the Register of Companies maintained by ROC.
