I am applying for housing loan and all my required papers are ready to submit. but bank has asked me to get certified true copy from my consultant. bank disallowed the certification done by my tax consultant they said CA certification is valid.. I want to ask that why such difference is there? if tax consultant do practice like CA then why his certification is invalid??

It is not like that, There are 3 type of tax professional 1- CA (Required to sign audit report)
2- TRP (Authorized and certified by Income tax department for filing Induvisual and HUF ITR, TRP's ID , Name and Sign on ITR)
3- Others (No qualification , no authorization)
Earlier return was file manually and when we submit it any where we submit the photo copy of it. so it was attested by CA, CA do not certify it they just attested it that it is TRUE COPY. Now a days e-filed ITR have bar code so every print is original copy no need to attest it but some bank manager's are still following old process to avoid auditor's query)
