Can we invest 1 crore in a pvt ltd with asc of 1 lakh?

02 September 2018 Hi, please help in understanding if 1 crore or more can be invested in a pvt ltd where its ASC is 1 lakh only. Can each share of face value be acquired at a higher price or should we approach ROC to increase ASC to 1cr? TIA
