INTEREST U/S 234A, B & C

If individual salaried Assesse is liable to pay income tax Rs. 63063 and till today he is not submitting income tax return. whether he is liable to pay interest or not ?
how calculation of Interest u/s 234a,b,c made ?

please replay..

VAT form 402

Dear Friend

A company has deducted TDS on Vat for a Civil contractor Bills Rased but the Civil Contractor has not Charges or Rased bill with Vat.Where Should I Account TDS on Vat In Current Asset OR as a Direct Expense and can the TDS of Vat can be clamed for Incometax

TDS u/s 194 J

Sir/Madam,

Pls.state whether the TDS u/s 194J is to be deducted for event mgmt.co. if the co.
is organising any event for us or 194 C
as I have audited & found that it should
be deducted u/s 194 J instead of 194 C.

Is my opinion is true?

house property problem

X has one house property in Bangalore. He stays with his family in the house.The rent of similar property in the neighbourhood is Rs.25000 pm. The municipal valuation is Rs.23000 pm .Municipal taxes paid Rs.8000.The house was constructed in the year 2001 with a loan of rs.20 lacs taken from SBI. the construction was completed on 30.11.2004. The accumalted interest upto 31.03.2004 is rs.150000. During the PY 08-09,X paid rs.188000 which included Rs.144000 as interest.Compute X income from house property for AY 09-10.
Pls i need solution of this problem.

Planning for selling of shares

if i have 10 shares purchased on different dates in my demat account. The first 2 shares were purchased 2 yrs back and rest of the shares are short term. as per rules shares goes out from demat on fifo basis.

Now suppose if i want to sell first my short term shares can i do so?
if not can i transfer my 2 long term shares to margin account with nse to get benefit of this situation for selling short term shares.after selling the short term shares i will take back my long term shares from margin account
please advice and for further queries do write to me

service tax on tv serial renting

am i liable to pay service tax if a tv serial produced by me is rentaed to a broadcaster to telecast it for once only. TV serial is my property and is not sold.
