Dear Sir,

Please advice on the below

1. if the shares are allocated at the time registration and if no duty has been paid

2. if the shares are being transferred and no stamp duty is paid so what are the consequences arises and if the same can be paid now ?

Am i a shareholder?

Dear Expert,

This may seem a strange query but I wanted to check if my Father in law is holding any shares of Reliance. He has lost his memory and has no papers or files that I can trace. He says that he had shares but forgot about them as the dividend was too low!

I have a feeling that he could still be a shareholder but is unaware of it.

Is there a way to check this. Unfortunately, I can't even say for sure which part/company of reliance this could be.

Would be most grateful for any help with this

A Shareholder who was deceased was an Indaian citizen but his daughter who is a british citizen wants to transmit the shares in her name is the approval of RBI required ?

Dematerialisation of shares
