Can the Asset Liability schedule filed with ITR3 be rectified after assessment is over if an apparent discrepancy is noticed. If so, under what section?

Section 139(8A) under the Income Tax Act allows you a chance to update your ITR within two years. Increase some income and pay some tax update assets schedule.
